Well, its been over a month since my last post. The swim season got pretty crazy and took up a lot more of my time than I expected. We had a pretty successful season; we finished third in our league, sent four swimmers to districts and set a school record. I personally felt strong as a coach, but with a lot of work left to do. The only downer of the season was my interactions with my assistant coach. I consider him one of my good friends, but we both applied for the job and I got it, and that caused a lot of tension, on both our parts. It was defiantly not a fun dynamic, although when things went smoothly, they were awesome.
As for the team, we are very young and I see lots of room for improvement next year!
We are getting excited about welcoming number 4 into our lives sometime in the next few weeks. J is very ready to meet him (as are we all). I will be exciting to have our little(?) family complete.
J the younger finished his soccer season last weekend and seems to be enjoying his free time. M's soccer team is into the second round of the state tournament and faces elimination games from here on out.

Happy to have you back! It was good to see you for the Superbowl. Would love it if you could make it to my birthday party but I know present circumstances may not allow it! Looking forward to meeting the next mini Patrick!
We're glad to see a new post too. Can't wait for that new one! Say hi to all the kids.
The new baby is what we can't wait for--not another new post. :-)
